At Narrows Music Box, we offer lessons for piano, guitar, voice, bass, drums, music theory and audio production.

Lessons are $70 per hour or $40 per half-hour.

We also offer at-home lessons via in-person or zoom.

Meet the Teachers

Bri is a dueling pianist and entertainer who teaches piano/voice teacher with experience teaching students as young as four all the way up to folks in later adulthood who may be looking for new skills to keep them sharp as they age.

"My approach to teaching revolves around joy and passion for playing, and finding appreciation in all forms of music. Not only are my lessons a great weekly activity to get students to hone in essential skills, it’s also a weekly check in to see how I can get every student to get closer to the music they want to play. I’ve found that the more a student directs their lesson, the more likely they’re going to both have fun, and feel accomplished doing it. Every musician needs to run through scales, rudiments, and other basics, but no curriculum is the same for two piano players."

Jonny is a local musician, songwriter and dueling pianist who offers fun and encouraging music lessons for all ages, primarily focusing on Guitar & Voice.

"Music is a place where I want students to feel good about themselves and be excited for what's to come. Every bit of progress is worth celebrating. My approach to music is multi-layered, meaning: lessons can be just about learning guitar, or singing AND playing, or learning theory and audio production simultaneously to become a better songwriter or get primed for music school. My philosophy is that everything is connected, and building those connections between your instrument, your ear, your knowledge of theory and how to record are valuable connections to have that CAN be taught to a beginner or someone at any experience level."
